Introduction

Below please find summary of relevant information related to ID travel on flights operated by Smartwings (QS). The employee is responsible for ensuring that any of his/her eligible persons travelling under Staff Travel agreements are aware of all the requirements that apply to ID travel. Any reference to employee below shall be deemed to include eligible persons where applicable.  Employees are responsible for checking the below information before travel.

Flight listing policy and procedures

Policy

Listing is mandatory on all QS flights.

Procedures

All tickets are issued through myIDTravel and listing is created at the time of the purchase.

Visas, Passports and API

Please remember that for international travel, each passenger must have a valid passport, and must have relevant visas for the destination, and for scheduled points en route, in case off-loading becomes necessary.

Advance passenger information (API) will be completed in myIDTravel, if required.

Baggage

Checked baggage

To adult passengers, following free baggage allowance is granted:

  • economy class: 1 PC up to 23 kg

Children (2 – 12 years) are entitled to the same extent as the adult.

Infants (children up to 2 years, not entitled to own seats) are entitled to one piece of baggage up to 10 kg and max. 115 cm (length + height + width).  

Cabin baggage

The passengers are entitled to carry one piece of cabin baggage up to 8 kg on board free of charge (max. dimensions of 55x40x23 cm, including handle, side pockets and wheels).

All other items must be stored inside the cabin baggage.

Boarding policy

Employees of other airlines are accepted after QS own employees and their eligibles have been checked-in. When there are more ID travellers on the same flight, the boarding priority criteria will be as follows:

  1. the ID passenger is listed on the flight in question
  2. date of joining

Check-in

The ID passengers are recommended to check-in no later than 60 minutes for short haul flights and 120 minutes medium and long haul flights. Economy class counter to be used. The check-in closes 40 minutes prior to the departure. 

Online check-in is available for ID passengers too. However, depending on the flight load status, the seat might be assigned at the gate.

Through check-in

Through check-in is not available for ID passengers. When planning your trip, please ensure you leave yourself enough time to land and check-in again at any intermediate point.

Dress code

Recommendation

Smart casual. Well groomed, neat, clean attire, conservative and in good taste.

Not permitted in any class

Shorts, Sweatshirts, Bare shoulders tops, Sandals, Sports wear/footwear for women.
