Flight listing is required for
allspace-available (“standby” or
“subload”) travel. Passengers
without a listing will be refused travel. Listing
(flight and meal) must be made at least 48 hours prior to travel
for international flights and 24 hours in advance for domestic
flights.
To list:
If you purchase your e-ticket via myIDtravel and your e-ticket
number begins with 232 (Malaysia Airlines' ticket stock), no
listing is required because you are automatically listed upon
ticket issuance.
If your e-ticket number does not begin with 232, you must
create a meal listing at the nearest MH office or via MH
call centre by calling 1300 88 3000 (within Malaysia) and
+603-7843 3000 (outside Malaysia).
For international travel, each passenger must have a valid
passport, and must have relevant visas for the destination, and for
scheduled points enroute, in case off-loading becomes
necessary. Some countries require Advance Passenger
Information System (APIS) and ETAS (Electronic Travel Authority
System), and MH requires that this must be provided before
check-in.
Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to deny boarding any
traveller who does not hold the appropriate documents for any point
to be transited on route.
Malaysia Airlines does not accept the use of tickets
out-of-sequence. Please note that in case of any issues resulting
from such a use, any claims shall not be accepted by Malaysia
Airlines. To avoid any issues, please advise your staff to purchase
One-Way coupon.
