Flight listing policy and procedures
Please list yourself for travel at least two hours in advance. For those carrier's holding a ZED agreement with Allegiant Air, listings must be made via myIDTravel.
All non myIDTravel participants should email our Allegiant Pass Bureau at g4passbureau@allegiantair.com.
We are aware of an issue where unused flights are showing as 'flown' in myIDTravel and are working to get this resolved. Please email g4passbureau@allegiantair.com for all refunds. Do not contact Allegiant Customer Care, as they will not be able to assist.
Visas and Passports and API
To comply with the TSA Secure Flight program, please have the following information ready when making your nonrevenue listing:
- Full Name (first, middle, last as appears on your government issued ID)
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Redress Number (if applicable)
- Known Traveler Number (if applicable)
Embargoes
There are currently no emabrgoes in place, however, due to on ongoing migration, all leisure travel fares are set to $0. This will only be for a short time before Allegiant reverts to charging a standard fare.
Flights excluded
Charter flights operated by Allegiant Airlines.
Baggage
Checked baggage
Screening and Identification:
Checked baggage will be screened and is subject to physical inspection as mandated by the TSA. Customers may be required to present identification. Regulations require name identification on the outside. We recommend placing identification on the inside of the baggage, too. Name labels are available at Allegiant Airlines ticket counters. Once you've checked your luggage, make sure you receive a separate claim check for each piece of baggage you've checked. Check to make sure that the city shown on the claim check(s) matches your final destination.

Baggage Allowance:
Allegiant allows one (1) checked piece of baggage per ticketed Customer. Size and weight limitations apply.
Excess Baggage:
Your 2nd through 9th bag or item will incur a charge of $50 per piece, and any bag or item thereafter will be $110 per piece.
Weight and Size Allowance:
Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage. Effective June 17, 2009, overweight items from 51 to 100 pounds and oversized items in excess of 62 inches but not more than 80 inches (e.g.; surfboards, bicycles, vaulting poles) will be accepted for a charge of $50 per item.
Allegiant is not liable for lost, damaged, or delayed baggage of nonrevenue travelers.

Although every effort will be made to get late checked baggage on your flight, in the event your baggage does not arrive with you at your destination, Allegiant will not assume delivery charges to get your baggage to you.
Cabin baggage
Per TSA regulations, carryon items are limited to one bag plus one small, personal item.
- Personal-type items include purses, briefcases, cameras, food containers, or laptops (case included).
- Allegiant limits carryon bag dimensions to 9 x 14 x 22 inches.
- All Customers and Employees and their items are subject to a thorough, physical search.
- The following items are not considered carryon bags or
personal-type items and are not counted against the "one-bag
plus one personal-type item" limit:
- A child restraint device for a ticketed child with a reserved seat or when complimentary, available space exists.
- Assistive/mobility devices for individuals with a disability. There is no limit to the number of assistive/mobility devices a Customer can bring onboard the aircraft.
- Outer garments or other wearable articles of clothing.
- Food for consumption during flight contained in disposable packaging.
- Walking canes or umbrellas.
Strollers and Child Restraint Systems (CRSs) or Car Seats
- Customers traveling with children will be allowed to check one stroller and one Child Restraint System (CRS) or car seat per child without charge. This is in addition to the regular free baggage allowance.
- The stroller and CRS or car seat allowance applies to any type of stroller (umbrella, full size, jogging stroller, etc.) and CRS or car seat.
- The Customer may check the stroller and CRS or car seat at the curb, ticket counter, or gate.
- Allegiant will not assume liability for damage to strollers, CRSs or car seats. Each should be tagged as conditionally accepted and placed in a plastic bag.

Boarding policy
Boarding priority is determined by time of check-in. Allegiant Employees and dependents will be accommodated prior to accommodating other airline space available pass holders.
Check-in
Passengers may check-in with a Customer Service Agent at the ticket counter up to two hours before a flight's scheduled departure time. Please check in at least 60 minutes prior to your flight's scheduled departure time.
Dress code
General
Allegiant's dress code is relaxed and casual, however, you, your eligible travelers, and guests must present a clean, well-groomed and tasteful appearance.
- Clean pants or walking shorts without holes
- T-shirts that do not bear any offensive/ inappropriate messaging or pictures
- Polo/button-down shirts, sweaters, or jackets
- Tennis shoes, loafers, sandals, or flip-flops
The following is a list of unacceptable nonrevenue attire. Passengers wearing any of the following will be denied nonrevenue travel:
- Tank tops, outfits with offensive or sexually oriented inscriptions or messages
- Low-cut, skimpy, revealing clothing, short shorts or gym shorts
- Torn, ragged, slashed pants/shorts; exposed midriff or halter tops
- Bare feet, beach or swimwear
Special service requests
Seat requests
Allegiant has an open seating policy. If you have a condition which requires a special seating arrangement, please speak with a Customer Service Agent when checking in at the ticket counter. Pre-boarding is available to nonrevenue passengers who qualify only if a boarding pass can be issued to the passenger prior to general boarding.
Infant safety seats
All infants must have a ticket to use an infant safety seat on an aircraft.
Proper use of a Child Restraint Systems (CRS) enhances child safety onboard the aircraft. For this reason, Allegiant and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) strongly recommend that infants and small children who weigh under 40 pounds be secured in an appropriate CRS when traveling by air.
Be sure to check the width of your CRS. Although the width of aircraft seats varies, a safety seat wider than 16 inches is unlikely to fit, even if the armrests of the aircraft seats are moved out of the way. An ill-fitting safety seat will not provide adequate protection for your child.
The FAA has banned the use on board aircraft of certain types of CRSs that may be harmful to a child in the event of an aviation emergency. These include backless booster seats, safety belt extensions (commonly referred to as "belly belts"), and vest or harness devices that attach to an adult. Although some that were manufactured before the FAA's ban may carry an insignia and/or language indicating they are approved for aircraft use, please understand that they are no longer permitted.
- Approved Child Restraint Systems
- Many of these carry the FMVSS.213 insignia and/or language indicating that they are "approved for use in motor vehicles and on aircraft."
- Any CRS manufactured between January 1, 1961 and February 25, 1985, must have the following label: "This child restraint device conforms to all applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards."
- Any CRS manufactured since February 26, 1985, must have both of the following labels: "This child restraint device conforms to all applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards" and "This restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft."
- Harness-type devices approved by the FAA:
- At this time, the FAA has approved only the AmSafe Aviation CARES, which is appropriate for children weighing between 22 and 44 pounds.
- The AmSafe Aviation CARES must have a label indicating "FAA Approved in Accordance with 14CFR 21.305(d), Approved for Aircraft Use Only."
Unaccompanied minors
- Children under 16 years cannot travel on a rebate ticket unless accompanied by an adult travelling on the same type of rebate ticket.
Back-up tickets
Allegiant expects employees to purchase all tickets they or their eligible nominees are likely to require for the entire journey before departure from base, as local stations are not resourced to issue rebate tickets.
Code of Conduct
Thank you for flying on Allegiant Air!
Please note: employees as well as their guests are required to conduct themselves in a manner which reflects courtesy, integrity, responsibility and good judgment.
- Understand all travel is STANDBY ONLY and not confirmed seating.
- Employees and guests must be cooperative; disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Comply with requests of the Customer Service Agents and Inflight Team Members on duty. If asked to deplane or move to another seat, please do so quickly and quietly.
- Employees must ensure that no inconvenience is given to Allegiant Air's revenue guests and that Customer Service Agents and Inflight Team Members on duty are not distracted from giving maximum service to such guests.
- ZED tickets may not be sold, purchased, donated, traded, or exchanged for goods or services. ZED tickets are not transferable.
- After checking in at the gate, travelers must remain clear of the ticket counter until they are called to receive a new boarding pass with seat assignment.
- Once given a boarding pass, travelers must board as soon as directed and take their assigned seat. Travelers must not ask other guests to move to improve their seating.
- Travelers must not request free amenities; such as complimentary drinks, alcoholic drinks, and food.
- Travelers and their guests are not eligible for denied boarding compensation or interrupted trip expenses.
- Travelers may not use ZED tickets if already booked for travel using a revenue ticket on the same day between the same cities.
