Flight listing policy and procedures

  • If you are booking via the myIDTravel portal user your listing is done automatically when you purchase tickets.

Baggage

  • ID ticket holders may travel with one piece of check-in baggage with a maximum weight of 25kg per passenger will be free of charge. In case of overweight, the passenger will be responsible for paying the difference according to the same fees as revenue passengers.

 

  • You can take a smaller bag or briefcase on board  which you must place under the seat in front of you.

 

Additional information

Behavior of ID passengers

  • Employees must ensure that no inconvenience is given to commercial passengers.
  • Employees may use ZED tickets for private travel only; they may not be used for any kind of business travel.
  • ZED tickets are not transferable. They may not be sold.

Boarding policy 

  • According the priority list/ airline and DOJ
  • ID card or passport must be presented

 

Check-in

  • For ID travel, employees may check in at the check in counters. To allow for added security procedures, employees must check-in no later than 90 minutes prior to departure.
  • Online check-in is currently not available for standby travelers.

Documentation

  • Employees and their eligible travelers are responsible for all required travel documents in route, in case offloading should become necessary for commercial or other reasons.
  • Vueling reserves the right to deny boarding to any traveler who does not hold the appropriate documents for any point to be transited on route.

Dress code 

All staff travelers must dress in good taste (smart/casual wear)

Please dress properly; clothes must be clean, in good condition and well maintained. 

The following items of clothing are not allowed:  

·         Sportswear 

·         See through clothing 

·         Tank tops 

·         Leggings 

·         Nudity 

·         Micro miniskirts 

·         Clothing displaying offensive wording or pictures 

·         Beachwear or flip-flops 

·         Shorts

Special service requests 

Special meals

  • It is not possible to pre-book special meals for ID passengers

Seat requests

  • Seat requests are not available for ID travel.
  • Even if you are assigned a specific seat at check-in, this may be changed to accommodate a commercial passenger.

Unaccompanied minors

  • Children under 16 years of age may not travel on a stand-by ticket unless accompanied by an adult holding a similar type of ticket.

 

Ticketing

Employees must purchase all tickets they are likely to require for the entire journey before departure from base. Tickets must be issued by your employing carrier (exept MyIDTravel Users). Vueling will not reissue tickets for employees of other airlines.

Insurance

VUELING recommends all employees and their eligible nominees to have comprehensive travel insurance (in case of injury or loss of documents or money,etc.)

Changing or Cancelling a Flight Ticket in VUELING

Any change or mistake regarding the flight ticket before departure must be notified to Vueling Interline Department by e-mail to interline@vueling.com as soon as possible with the reservation number.

Passengers can modify the departure date and flight schedule always before and after to flight departure through myIDTravel app.

 

Delay, Cancelation and Overbooking VY flights

The passenger flying with a benefit will not be within the right to demand a refund in cases of delay, cancellation or overbooking.

 To request being listed for the next flight available please use myIDTravel

We suggest passengers to request a flight cancellation before departure.

In case of overbooking, the passenger will have to change the flight through myIDTravel
