Flight listing policy and procedures
All ID passengers must list themselves on the flight on which they wish to travel by using MyIDTravel. ID passengers from airlines who do not use NIET should list themselves by contacting an Air Tahiti Nui Call Center. Any ID passenger coming to the check-in of a flight on which he is not listed will be boarded, if there is availability, after the ID passengers listed on the flight.
Any ID passenger who decides not to come to the check-in of the flight on which he is listed must systematically unlist himself as soon as possible on MyIDTravel, before the flight departure, in order to save the cost of any meals that may have been ordered.
If at the close of check-in for a flight on which the ID passenger is listed, he/she has not been able to board, he/she will be relisted on the following flight, upon request, by station agents.
Payment on MyIDTravel: In case the traveler pays with a credit card belonging to someone else, the credit card holder name must be inserted, otherwise the payment will be rejected.
Update 25 Sept 24: The issue with the booking of multi-segment flights in MyIDTravel that was ongoing since Dec 23 has been resolved as of 25 Sept 24. Multi-segment flights such as TN 7/8 PPT-CDG v.v. via LAX, TN 57/58 PPT-CDG v.v. via SEA, TN 101/102 LAX-AKL v.v. via PPT can now be requested as 1 segment again, i.e. PPT-CDG, CDG-PPT, LAX-AKL or AKL-LAX. The MyIDTravel system will automatically split the flight into 2 segments.
Visas and passports
Employees and their eligible travelers are expected to hold all pertinent travel documents such as valid passport, relevant visas and health certificate required by the country of destination and for scheduled points en route, in case offloading should become necessary for commercial or other reasons.
TN reserves the right to deny boarding to any traveler who does not hold the appropriate documents for any point to be transited en route. Air Tahiti Nui accepts no responsibility for missing or invalid documents.
Please be aware the USA requires all Visa Waiver passengers to have completed the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) application, ideally at least 72 hours before departure. You do not need to enter travel details or address in the USA, and if approved, the authorization is valid for two years, so it is worth applying well in advance if you think you have any intention of travelling to the USA in the coming two years. If you do not have the authorization, you will not be able to travel on TN to the USA. The link to the web-site, which shows which countries are included in the Visa Waiver program, is: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

Through check-in
Through check-in is not available to standby (or "space available") passengers. When planning your trip, please ensure you leave yourself enough time to land and check-in again at any intermediate point.
Attitude and behavior
An ID passenger must in all circumstances, before, during and/or after its flight:
· Observe a faultless behavior, in line with what is expected from passengers travelling in the same class of travel. Be courteous and kind with other passengers, as well as with the Air Tahiti Nui staff on the ground and in flight.
· Cooperate with all of Air Tahiti Nui staff on duty (for example: change of seat, seating next to unaccompanied minors, unavailability of meals, etc.)
· Be discreet about one’s status as ID passenger.
Dress code
An ID passenger must have an impeccable and decent outfit. Any ID passenger dressed in an outfit that is too casual or neglected (ex: beach short, flip-flops, etc.) can be denied boarding.
Frequent Flyer Program
In accordance with ZED standards, ZED travel shall not count towards any frequent flyer program. ID passengers are not permitted to use any Frequent Flyer Card to obtain any of the facilities allowed by possession of such cards, i.e. air miles, special lounges, ground facilities, special offers, courtesy or reduced-rate business facilities, or upgrading offers.
Special service requests
Seat assignment
Under the principle of priority to paying passengers, seat assignment for ID passengers is only done at the check-in counter, the day of departure.
Special meals
Given the discount granted to ID passengers and the extra cost involved with a special meal compared to a standard meal for the Company, requests for special meals (ex : CHML, BBML, VGML, etc.) are not accepted for ID passengers. Any ID passenger following a special diet must make his own arrangements when travelling on Air Tahiti Nui.
Unaccompanied minors (UM)
Children under 16 years cannot travel on a rebate ticket unless accompanied by an adult travelling on the same type of rebate ticket.
