Flight listing policy and procedures

Listing should be completed at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of the intended flight.  Please call our Sales Call Centre (Reservations) up to 7 days prior to your intended date of travel to make your listing.  Passengers without a listing may be refused travel. Do not expect an early response on emails due to the limited resources especially emails sent to PIA on Saturday/Sunday or National Holidays, shall be responded upon resumption of office.   Passenger should reach airport:

  • Minimum 2 hours before departure time for domestic flights & Minimum 4 hours before departure time for international flights due to intensive security arrangements at airports.
  • Counters will be strictly closed 01HR before the departure time.

 Register at airport service counters no less than 60 minutes prior for domestic flights within Pakistan, and 120 minutes for transborder and international flights.

BOARDING POLICY:

Boarding priority is determined by time of checkin. PIA Employees and dependents will be accommodated prior to accommodating other airline space available pass riders.

ACCEPTANCE: 
Staff will be required to provide photo identity having data for Date of Birth, Passport number, Date and Country of issue among other details as required by API and TSA standards. 

EMBARGOES

Notices are served normally a week before its imposition.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

  • 01 piece of hand carry allowed of weighing 7kgs, Weight & Dimension of Hand Carry Baggage Allowed in Cabin; 
  • Passengers are entitled to a baggage allowance of 21 kg, One Piece

REFUNDS

Approximate processing time is 120 working days for refunds. Queries related to refund will be entertained after this mentioned period. Any refunds must request a refund within 4 months of the last flown flight.  (E-mail: khibtpk@piac.aero)

 DRESS CODE AND BEHAVIOR:

A groomed, clean, tidy and smart appearance is necessary when using PIA tickets. Generally the following is NOT considered acceptable:

·            Clothes bearing religious or offensive language or images

·            Clothes of a revealing/exposing nature

·            Strapless/sleeveless tops (baring shoulders)

·            Shorts (of any length)

·            Mini/micro skirts

·            Torn, soiled, ripped or cut down denim 

·            Trousers or skirts hanging on the hip (that expose underwear or midriff, unless as part of national dress such a sari which is acceptable)

·            Beachwear (of any kind)

·            Beach footwear, such as flip-flops (smart sandals are acceptable) 

·            Soiled footwear, such as dirty sports/training shoes (clean and smart sports/ training shoes are acceptable)

Eligible persons travelling under the terms of this agreement must ensure that their appearance and behavior are in line with the transporting airline’s policy. Eligible persons must ensure that no inconvenience is caused to commercial passengers of the transporting airline and that ground staff and cabin crew are not distracted from providing maximum service to commercial passengers. Eligible persons should be dressed in accordance with public standards of good taste. Failure to observe the regulations of the transporting airline may result in refusal of acceptance for travel.
