Flight listing policy and procedures

  • Listing is mandatory on all airBaltic flights.
  • If you are myIDTravel user your listing is done automatically when you purchase tickets.
  • If you are not myIDTravel portal user and travel with paper tickets listing should be done via myIDTravel. com listing tool or local ticket offices or e-mail: idtravelrix@airbaltic.lv  (supply with info:employee-DOJ, names, routing, dates, airline)

Visas and Passports and API

  • It is an employee responsibility to obtain visa before travel (if visa necessary). In absence of visa, boarding can be denied.
  • If travel contains some stopovers, ID ticket holder may be off loaded in order to give seat to a commercial passenger. Therefore, you should have all necessary travel documents(passport, visa,etc.) for every country where a stopover is forseen.

Check-in

  • check-in possible on airBaltic website: www.airbaltic.com
  • check-in possible with self-service kiosks
  • BT staff may use FAST TRACK entry for security check. Ask for a stamp on boarding pass at the check-in desk or present your ID card at the security desk.

Check-in times

  • Passenger must check-in at least 40 min before departure. A delayed check-in may cause a refusal of the access for a flight.

Through check-in

  • Through check-in is not available to stad-by passengers.
  • When planning your trip, please ensure you leave yourself enough time to land and check-in again at any intermidiate point.

  • All staff travellers must dress in good taste(smart/casual wear:presentable jeans accepted).

Special service requests

 Special meals

  • It is not possible to pre-book special meals for ID passengers

Seat requests

  • Seat requests are not available for ID travel.
  • Even if you are assigned a specific seat at check-in, this may be changed to accommodate a commercial passenger.

Infant safety seats

  • safety seat for an infant is not provided on board for staff travellers.

Unaccompanied minors

  • Children under 16 years of age may not travel on a stand-by ticket unless accompanied by an adult holding a similar type of ticket.

Upgrade policy

  • If on the day of travel seats are not available in your cabin of eligibility, you will be automatically considered for an upgrade to the higher cabin depending on commercial and operational needs.

Useful extra information

Insurance

  • BT recommends all employees and their eligible nominees to have comprehensive travel insurance (in case of injury or loss of documrents or money,etc.)

Back-up tickets

  • Employees have to purchase all tickets they are likely to require for the entire journey before departure from base. Local stations are not permitted to issue rebate tickets.
