Flight listing policy and procedures

If you have purchased tickets via myIDTravel for BI, your listing has been arranged online at the time of ticketing. 

If you do not have your airlines's log-in to access myIDTravel for BI, please contact your carrier's staff travel coordinator.

If you are listed and your travel plan is changed, please cancel any unwanted listing via myIDTravel for BI at the earliest possible date in order to avoid wastage of meals and any additional costs for the transporting airlines.  

Flight listing is required when a ticket has not booked through MyIDTravel at least 3 days prior to travel to the following email addresses:

 All Destinations: Economy 23kg, Business 40Kg

Visas and Passports and API

For international travel, each passenger must have a valid passport, and must have relevant visas for the destination, and for scheduled points enroute, in case off-loading becomes necessary. Some countries require Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) and ETAS (Electronic Travel Authority System), and BI requires that this must be provided before check-in.

Dress code

All interline staffs & their dependents must comply to a dress code when travelling on Royal Brunei. In both Business & Economy Class, smart casual wear (no low-cut, sleeveless, revealing clothes or short skirts/pants) is advised.

For Economy Class, smart jeans (not ripped/torn or patched up), T-shirts (no offensive illustrations or slogans), sport/athletis shoes, but not sandals/flip-flops, are permitted.

In Business Class, track suits, jeans, shorts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, sandals, slippers and sport shoes will not be acceptable. The following dress code must be observed:

  • Male: Casual business attire e.g. shirt, trousers or smart casual pants, closed-toe shoes. Suit/jacket is optional.
  • Female: Casual business attire e.g. national dress, dress (knee length & longer with sleeves), skirt or trousers, shoes or heels. Suit/jacket is optional.
  • Children: Neatly dressed in suitable attire for travel.
