Below please find a summary of relevant information related to ID travel on flights operated by Transwest Air operated by Rise Air (4T). The employee is responsible for ensuring that any of his/her eligible persons traveling under staff travel agreements are aware of all the requirements that apply to standby travel. Any reference to employee below shall be deemed to include eligible persons where applicable. Employees are responsible for checking the below information before travel.

Flight listing policy and procedures

All ticketing, listing, changes and cancellations must be processed via myIDTravel.

Visas and Passports and API

Passport and/or photo ID is required at check in as regulated by Transport Canada.

Check-in times

Airport check-in is 1 hour in advance. Check-in must be completed 30 minutes before scheduled departure times.

Checked baggage exceeding the weight, size and/or number of pieces per guest are subject to fees as well as space and weight availability for transport.

Rise Air is required to enforce carry-on baggage size restrictions, as per Transport Canada regulations. A cabin baggage size unit is available at check-in to ensure that your carry-on(s) fit in the allotted space:

Carry-on per passenger:

Two pieces not to exceed 9 inches by 16 inches by 22.5 inches each. Weight cannot exceed 13 pounds

Dress code

Dress attire must be appropriate for the weather and time of the year Rise Air operates in. Dress standards are enforced at airports and our Airport Services staff, who, have the final say on what is or is not acceptable dress. If the standard of dress is improper, the ID passenger will not be accepted for boarding.

Unaccompanied minors

Rise Air does not transport unaccompanied minors.

Live Animals

Customers travelling with live animals must supply their own hard-case kennels. Kennels are in addition to carry-on and checked baggage allowances are subject to the same charges and carriage rules as for revenue passengers.

Special Service Requests

Once your ticket is booked via myIDTravel.com contact the Rise Air Reservations department at 1-800-667-9356 to add special requests to your listing, including wheelchair assistance or live animals . In lieu of this, advise our airport agents at time of check-in.
