Flight Listing Policy & Procedures

·         Bookings / Rebookings / Listings can be done via myIDTravel only

·         Listing is automatically created when purchasing e-ticket. No other action is required

·         Once payment is validated, you will automatically receive an itinerary receipt by e-mail

·         Please retrieve PNR to cancel your flights

·         Inquiries in regard to booking figures will not be replied by Helvetic Airways

·         For all flights operated on behalf of SWISS (wetlease), the LX ID Agreement applies

Baggage

Checked Baggage

·         1 piece up to 23 kg / 50 lb

·         No baggage incl. for infants but 1 pram, buggy or child seat free of charge

The carriage of baggage of ID travellers is also subject to the space availability and any weight restrictions which may apply to the flight. For excess baggage, the regular fares apply and it must be paid in full at the normal rates.

Cabin Baggage

·         1 piece up to 5 kg (55x40x20)

Check-In and Boarding

Counter Check-In

Helvetic Airways recommends that you arrive at the check-in counter at least two hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Depending on the airport, the check-in counter closes between 45 and 65 minutes before departure. For check-in opening hours, please check www.helvetic.com

Web Check-In

Currently not available for any ID tickets (neither confirmed nor standby).

Dress Code

All ID travellers are expected to dress appropriately and in good taste when traveling on Helvetic Airways regardless of the destination. ID travellers in worn-out, dirty, or torn clothes, in beach attire, flip flops, tank tops, shorts or jogging outfit will not be accepted on board. The stations have the obligation to refuse improperly dressed ID travellers.

Visa and Passports

ID travellers are expected to hold all pertinent travel documents such as passport, visas and health certificates required by the country of destination and points en-route, in case offloading should become necessary for commercial or other reasons.

Special Service

·         It is not possible to pre-book special meals for any rebate passengers

·         Wheelchair assistance can be requested via stafftravel@helvetic.com

·         Seat requests are not permitted when travelling with ID tickets

·         Child under 16 years cannot travel with an ID ticket unless accompanied by an adult travelling on the same type of ID ticket

·         PETC / AVIH not permitted for passengers travelling with ID tickets

·         BIKE is subject to load and will only be confirmed as of 3 days before the day of service

 Refund Info

·         Cancel unused tickets online via myIDTravel

·         Please send the cancellation confirmation received by e-mail to stafftravel@helvetic.com in order to apply for a refund

·         Please note that no automatic refund is issued!

·         Bookable Tickets are fully refundable until 4 days before departure, afterwards only airport taxes will be refunded
